The 6d kangaroo and map stamp was issued starting in 1913 as part of the first Kangaroo & Map definitive series.
September 1932, many of these stamps were overprinted with "OS" (“On Service”) for official government use
The 6d OS is commonly found in chestnut/brown or ultramarine-blue shades.
